West Point — Eisenhower Hall Theatre will present country singer Gary Allan in performance at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 29. Through his chart-topping albums, including the breakthrough “Smoke Rings in the Dark,” Allan has established himself as a songwriter. He most recently released the album, “Tough All Over.” A life-long country music fan, Allan knows Buck Owens, Merle Haggard, and Willie Nelson, but also explores the colors and attitudes oo ther styles. Recently nominated for several Country Music Awards, including Album of the Year, Allan believes that vintage choices should form the bedrock of country music. His songs echo ‘50s guitar tunes, honky-tonk rhythms, and up-front lyrics. For more information, visit www.garyallan.com. All seats are $29.
