| 29 Sep 2011 | 08:18

On Saturday, March 25 and April 1, at 10 a.m., the Museum of the Hudson Highlands will celebrate spring with “Cottontail Tales.” The Eastern cottontail rabbit, one of the area’s more common mammals, is awake all year. Find out where they hide, why they leave their young alone all day, and which plant is their favorite food (it isn’t carrots). Meet at Kenridge Farm on Route 9W in Cornwall. Nonmembers: $5 for children and $7 for adults. Members: $2 for children, $3 for adults. For information, call 534-5506, ext. 204, or visit www.museumhudsonhighlands.org.
