Cooking demonstration and tasting at the library

Chester — Shawn Hubbell, the chef at Maggie’s in the Alley in Chester, will give a cooking demonstration from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, in the Chester Senior Center, located in the back of the library building at 1784 Kings Highway. Hubbell is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America. He will demonstrate a variety of cooking techniques, with a focus on holiday appetizers. After the demonstration he will offer workshop participants a taste of the dishes he will prepare. The Friends of the Chester Library is sponsoring the event.
