Concert presents oboist Carey Smith

Highland Falls — The Church of the Holy Innocents will continue its Stained-Glass Concert Series with oboist Carey Smith of the United States Military Band. The concert will take place at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 26, at 401 Main St. in Highland Falls. Staff Sgt. Smith will perform a classical concert, with works from Ravel, Albanoni, Copland, and Silvastrini. She will be accompanied by pianist Pat Maimone and trumpet player Chris Winans. Currently a member of the West Point Woodwind Quintet, Smith has played with the Central City Opera Company in California, and has performed twice at Carnegie Hall. Admission is free and refreshments will be served. A goodwill offering will be taken to benefit the stained glass restoration at the Episcopal church. For more information, call 446-2197.
