WARWICK — The Play For The Park Summerfest presented by Warwick Playground Dreams is set for Saturday, Aug. 19, from noon to 8 p.m., rain or shine, at the Warwick Town Park, located at 117 Union Corners Road.
The community-wide Summerfest will feature live music, craft beer garden, food trucks, more than 50 area vendors, a car show with more than 75 participants, raffles, a kids zone complete with bounce houses, fire trucks from multiple departments, activities, face painting, balloon twisters, character appearances, games and so much more.
Attendees are invited to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the sounds of local area bands while sipping on wine, hard ciders and craft beers.
The Summerfest will include local delectable treats from a unique selection of food trucks and concessions, all promising a day of street eats that will satisfy the savory, sweet and hard-to-please taste buds.
Warwick Playground Dreams still has a few vendor spots available. Anyone interested in becoming a vendor should contact vendors@warwickplaygrounddreams.org
Admission to the SummerFest is a $5 suggested donation for adults. Children are free.
All proceeds from Play For The Park Summerfest will benefit Warwick Playground Dreams.
Warwick Playground Dreams is a non-profit made up of a committee of volunteers from all across the town of Warwick who want to rejuvenate the aging playground in Stanley Deming Park; our plan is to bring a community-designed, community-built ADA-accessible playground to Warwick.
