Warwick - The Historical Society of the Town of Warwick hosts its annual “Under the Tent” preservation fund raiser Saturday, Aug. 25, from 6 to 9 p.m. in Lewis Park in the center of the village of Warwick. Tickets are $50 and they are available at the door or by calling the Historical Society at 845-986-3236. This year’s theme is simply “good ole country fun” and it begins with a raffle of a wheel barrow filled with Warwick’s bounty from many nurseries and produce farms; it also includes a design consultation. Beside great food as well as blue grass music by the “Glory Bound Band,” there will be silent auction items such as private cooking lessons from local chefs, tickets to Off-Broadway musicals, four catered affairs and at least a dozen more locally donated items.
