College to present program on purposeful living
NEWBURGH Motivational speaker Joe Martin will talk about finding one’s purpose in life during a satellite broadcast set for 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17, in Aquinas 234, Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh. Martin’s presentation, “Waking the Dead: Living with Purpose, Passion and Power,” will address identifying, accepting, and maximizing one’s unique talents and skills; getting and staying self-motivated by means other than money; stopping oneself and others from sabotaging one’s success; becoming committed to one’s purpose in spite of problems; and turning passion into a paycheck. Martin is an award-winning speaker, university professor, author and educational consultant who lectures at more than 50 college campuses a year. The program is free and open to the public.
