College scholarships available through the Warwick Valley Quilt Guild

WARWICK — The Warwick Valley Quilt Guild offers an annual scholarship to a graduating high school senior planning to pursue an education in the field of fiber arts and fine arts.
Fiber arts include majors such as textile arts, fashion design and fashion marketing while and fine arts includes such majors as painting, sculpture and graphic art.
The applicant for the Phyllis Klein Scholarship must have completed at least one course in sewing, textiles, design and/or art during high school.
Details have been sent to area schools; check with your school counselor.
The deadline for submission is April 10.
