Warwick — The Warwick Valley Middle School Drama Club will present Cabaret, an evening of song featuring performances from past musicals, at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5. The dessert cabaret will take place in the middle school cafeteria and will spotlight several drama club alumni, reprising their roles from past middle school musicals, including Sound of Music, Brigadoon, Bye Bye Birdie, Fiddler on the Roof, Anything Goes, and Seussical. Eliza Mack, a sophomore majoring in experimental theatre at New York University, will return as Maria von Trapp from Sound of Music to open the evening. Jonathan Henry, a freshman film major, will be returning as Tommy, in Brigadoon. Dan Lapidus, in his role as the Cat in the Hat from last year’s Seussical, will emcee the evening. Students from the high school, who have all gone on to roles in Warwick Valley High School musical productions, will come back to the middle school for this fundraising event. Tickets for the Cabaret are available for $5 through the middle school office. For more information, write to wvmsdrama@optonline.net.
