Church to host BBQ dinner

Chester — The First Presbyterian Church of Chester will host a Chicken Barbecue Dinner (a month early) on Saturday, June 11 any time from 4 to 7 p.m. All are invited. Take-outs will also be available. The menu consists of tomato juice, dinner rolls, the church’s special coleslaw, barbecued chicken half, baked potato, and corn. Iced tea, coffee, and milk are served along with homemade brownies and ice cream for dessert. Tickets are: adult/$12, senior citizen (65 and over)/$10, child (6-12)/$6, and child (5 and under)/free.
