Church to hold roast beef dinner

Chester The First Presbyterian Church of Chester is holding a fall roast beef dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4. Take-outs will be available at that time also. The menu consists of tomato juice, dinner rolls, the church’s special coleslaw, green beans, Harvard beets, roast beef and mashed potatoes. Coffee, tea and milk are served along with homemade apple crisp and whipped cream topping for dessert. Tickets are $9 for adults, $8 for senior citizens (age 65 and older), $4 for children ages 6 to 12, and free for children under five. Advanced reservations are recommended for this sell-out dinner.
