Christmas play auditions scheduled

    Sugar Loaf —The Completely Mobile Theatre Company, a local non-profit professional theatre company, is producing a Christmas ecumenical theater production with the help of all of the Christian churches of Sussex County, N.J., and Orange County, N.Y. The production, a full-scale Broadway-style musical called "Two From Galilee," will be produced at the Lycian Theater in Sugar Loaf, the McNeice Auditorium in Sparta, N.J., and the Newburgh Free Academy Auditorium in Newburgh during this Christmas season. Auditions are scheduled as follows: Monday, Sept. 12, at the Harmony Baptist Church, 1790 Route 211 East, Middletown. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at First Presbyterian Church of Sparta, 32 Main St., Sparta, N.J. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at the Newburgh Activity Center, 401 Washington, Newburgh. Thursday, Sept. 15, at the Doc Fry Community Center, 11 Hamilton St., Warwick. Friday, Sept. 16, at the First Presbyterian Church, 54 High St., Newton, N.J. Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Glenwood Baptist Church, 1863 Route 565 in Glenwood, N.J. People interested in auditioning should be prepared to sing a musical theater song or a standard Christian praise hymn. An accompanist will be provided.
