Warwick - Vision Community Church is performing its second Christmas musical dinner theatre for kids (adults are welcome, too) on Sunday night, Dec 10, in the Cafetorium at Sanfordville Elementary School. A ziti dinner will be is served at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. This year’s musical, “A King is Coming to Town,” is about the little town of Rumor’s Mill, where its citizens discover that the king that is coming, Jesus, is nothing like the kings they imagine. Directors Pam Heatley and Amy Smith said the musical has “fun contemporary music and a great message about the true meaning of Christmas.” All the proceeds from the event will go to The Center for Missing and Exploiting Children. Last year’s musical, “Christmas Starr,” raised more than $1,100 for this cause. “Children helping other children is something our whole community can get behind,” said Don Heatley, pastor of Vision Community Church. “As with everything we do, everyone is invited to this event”. Tickets may be reserved by calling the church at 986-4333 or e-mailing Connect@visiblechurch.org Vision Community Church meets every Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Warwick Valley Community Center.
