Chorus offers acappella harmony and teen fiddler

    Central Valley — Sweet Adelines’ Song of the Valley Chapter will offer their concert, “Celebration,” at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23, at Monroe Woodbury Middle School at 199 Dunderberg Road in Central Valley. The chorus, directed by Lisbet P. Kline, will offer traditional and modern four-part acappella harmony. Special entertainment will be provided by the “Mixed Company Quartet,” “The Footlighters Quartet,” and teenage fiddler Erin Slaver, a new addition who hails from Liberty. Many barbershop enthusiasts will be participating in this roundup of acappella harmony. They have commuted from every corner of Orange County for weekly rehearsals in Goshen.
