Choral society to present spring concerts

Highland Mills — The Classic Choral Society’s 52nd spring concert will feature three works by John Rutter, who was recently commissioned to compose an anthem for the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. The society is under the artistic direction of Janiece Kohler, of Monroe. There will be two opportunities to hear the concert. The first is Sunday, June 5 at 4 p.m. at the Blooming Grove United Church of Christ, 2 Old Dominion Rd., Blooming Grove. The encore performance will be Saturday, June 11 at 7 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 33 Park Place, Goshen. Tickets are not needed, The Classic Choral Society is a non-profit, community chorus of adult singers dedicated to the study and performance of great choral works.
