Choir to showcase holiday sounds

Vernon, N.J. —The Community Choral Society will present its Winter Concert, titled “Carols and Exaltations” at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3. The program will feature Vivaldi’s Gloria and holiday music from around the world. The Community Choral Society is led by director Fred Irwin and accompanied by Eleanore O’Mara of Vernon. The program will be presented at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, on Route 94 in Vernon. Funding has been made available in part by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, through the State/County Partnership Block Grant Program, as administered by the Sussex County Arts and Heritage Council.
