Children to learn about horses

WARWICK — Winslow Therapeutic Center offers “Healing With Horses,” where children can learn, make friends and spend time with gentle horses. The center will host a Mini-Camp, for children ages seven and up, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. during the week of April 17 to 21. The children will participate in riding lessons, barn activities such as grooming and tacking horses, vaulting, arts and crafts, games, and making treats for the horses. Children should dress warmly and bring a bag lunch. Snacks will be provided. The cost is $40 per day. Call 986-6686 to sign up.
