Chester — The Chester Historical Society will hold its Christmas tree lighting at the 1915 Erie Railroad Station Museum at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3. The station is located at 19 Winkler Place, along the Heritage Trail in historic downtown Chester. Hot chocolate and mulled cider, along with cookies and a festive cake, will be offered to all guests. Weather permitting, the afternoon’s activities will begin with a dance performance by the Chosen Vessels, part of the youth group at the New Worship Gospel Church of Chester. Their performance will be followed by community singers, including various choir singers of Chester and the surrounding area. As always, Santa will make an appearance.
