Chester Library book sale

Chester — The Friends of the Chester Library will hold its semiannual book and bake sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, at the library, located on Kings Highway (at the senior center, downstairs). A Friends’-only preview and book sale will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13. Those interested in becoming a Friend can sign up at the preview sale. Books for donation will be accepted at the library. No encyclopedias, textbooks or magazines will be accepted. Donations of baked goods are welcome on the day of the sale.
