TUXEDO PARK — The Kenyon College Chamber Singers will perform a free concert at St. Mary’s-in-Tuxedo, 10 Fox Hill Road in Tuxedo Park, on Friday, March 5, as part of a series of weekly ecumenical services held during Lent. The 53 choir members, under the direction of Benjamin Locke, will present a program of a cappella choral music, including such pieces as Bach’s double choir motet, “Der Geist hilft unsrer Schwachheit auf” and Hal Johnson’s “Ain’t Got Time to Die.” The Chamber Singers are a select choir comprising undergraduate students who regard singing as an integral part of a liberal arts education. They rehearse daily to prepare for regular college concerts, both a cappella and accompanied. For information, call Sue Heywood at 351-3473.
