Chamber music comes to Pacem in Terris this Sunday

WARWICK — The Serenade Orchestra and Quartet will appear in concert this coming Sunday, Sept. 1, beginning at 5 p.m., at Pacem in Terris.

The concert will feature violinists Krista Bennion Feeney and Keats Dieffenbach, violist David Cerutti, bassist John Feeney and natural horns R.J. Kelley and Alexandra Cook. The program will include:

Concerto for horn and Concerto for two horns with strings in D Major by Georg Philipp Telemann.

String Quartet Op.1, No. 1 in B flat for two violins, viola and bass by Franz Joseph Haydn.

Rumanian Folk Dances by Béla Bártok: Arranged by the Serenade Quartet for two violins, viola and bass.

Hungarian Dance No. 1 in G Minor by Johannes Brahms: Arranged by John Feeney for two violins, viola and bass.

Dobra Dobra, Traditional Rumanian Dance: Arranged by David Cerutti for two violins, viola and bass.
