Celebrate the Chinese New Year

CENTRAL VALLEY — Celebration of the Year of the Horse will be held Saturday, Feb. 1, at Central Valley Elementary School, located at 45 Route 32 in Central Valley.

The celebration festival is sponsored by the Orange County Chinese Association and its subsidiary, Orange County Chinese School.

This is a family-oriented event and all guests are welcome. A celebration dinner with home-made authentic Chinese cuisine will be served between 4 and 6 p.m. That will be followed by a stage show by Chinese School students, teachers and invited professional artists from 6 to 9 p.m.

The festival features how Chinese people celebrate their new year; it also is an opportunity for the members of the association and school to share their culture locally.

Essential information
The show is free for all guests.

The dinner is $12 per guest (age 5 and older).
