Shabbat Across America will be celebrated at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, March 3. The event is a time for Jews to connect to their community, connect to fellow Jews, reconnect to friends and reconnect to a practice that has united the Jewish people for over 3000 years. There will be a Judaic craft activity for children during the program. Starting Sunday, March 5, at 10:45 a.m., a six week Shoftim course on the Book of Judges will be offered by Rabbi Garry Loeb. Reservations are required to assure necessary study materials. Also on Sunday, March 5, the temple is sponsoring a trip to “By Spirit Alone: Celebrating the Music of Debbie Friedman,” a 4 p.m. performance at Congregation Beth Shalom in Teaneck, N.J. Carpools will leave the Monroe temple at 2 p.m. Tickets for adults are $20 prepaid and $25 at the door, and for children under 12, $10 prepaid and $12 at the door.
