Call for artists

WARWICK — “The Work Bench” is a small artist guild and learning center dedicated to fostering the creation of inspired objects of art and craft.

According to the group’s mission statement: “We believe that art can save the world, and it is in this spirit that a different humanitarian cause will be chosen each month and a percentage of our proceeds donated to the cause. We are currently looking for a few exceptional artists and/or crafts people to join our group. If you are selected, your pieces will be sold in our store. You will also be expected to share your skills and time by teaching at least one class a month in your chosen art or craft, and running the store at least two days a month.”

If you are “a kindred soul” and a resident of the Town of Warwick who would like to apply, submit at least five quality photographs of your work to darlalou@optonline.net.
