Buddhist temples hold open houses for Earth Day

WALDEN Three Hudson Valley Buddhist temples will welcome visitors from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, April 1, for an open house in commemoration of Earth Day.
Each temple will present traditional religious and cultural practices that reinforce harmony with all living beings and the environment they live in, such as planting trees and gardens.
The open houses are free, and children are welcome.
