Borderland to host ‘Horsing Around'

    WARWICK-"Horsing Around at Borderland," a festive day of scores of horse-related activities, will be held next month at Borderland Farm in Warwick to benefit the work of the Warwick Conservancy.  The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 10 (rain date July 11) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Many of the best horse farms in the region will participate. Dressage, jumping, vaulting, horse dancing, hunt demonstrations, kid's activities, hay rides, white elephant sale, silent auction (including a two-night luxury resort stay and prominent local artist's paintings), music, eats (or bring your own picnic basket and blanket).  Admission for all the day's activites except food is $20 for adults, seniors 65+ $15, and youngsters 5-18, $5, kids under 5, free.  Borderland Farm, which straddles the New York-New Jersey border, is located at 340 Route 94 South.
