BMA-HV hosts seminar on strategic marketing plans

    Poughkeepsie, — The Business Marketing Association of the Hudson Valley will hold its February meeting at Cosimo’s on Union in Newburgh, at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27. Excel Auto Glass, which features in-shop and mobile auto glass services to the Hudson Valley and has locations on 9W in Lake Katrine and a brand new facility on Route 211 East in Middletown, is the sponsor for the February meeting. The guest speaker, Joan Giewat, will discuss the components that absolutely should be present in any highly strategic marketing plan, as well as guidelines for plan implementation. “Joan Giewat has developed strategic marketing plans for many businesses and nonprofit organizations over the course of her career,” says Bud Clarke, BMA-HV President. She is truly an innovative mastermind when it comes to marketing, management, and the entrepreneurial experience. We feel very certain that those people who attend our February meeting will walk away feeling that they have received practical wisdom they can incorporate into their business throughout the year.” Prior to starting her own consulting business - Willow Pond Business Consulting - Giewat was instrumental in developing and implementing a pivotal marketing plan for an off-site campus for Pace University. Her experiences also include the managing of operations and multiple budgets for other clients.
