Warwick — The Friends of the Albert Wisner Public Library will host their fifth annual Moonlight Over Warwick fundraising Gala at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27 at the Hickory Hill Golf Club in Warwick. The theme this year is a Blue Jean Ball, dress is casual and fare will include buffet stations and a margarita bar. Loose Caboose will provide music. In keeping with the Blue Jean theme, local artists have decorated denim jackets that will be offered in a live auction. Auctioneer Ron Hennel promises the festivities will be as fun and lively as last year. To preview the jackets and other denim items take a walk down Main St., the Carriage Path and Railroad Ave. in the Village of Warwick where the jackets will be on display from Oct. 15 until the Gala. Walking tour guides will be available at the library and at selected village shops to help you locate each of the 20 jackets. In addition the evening will include a silent auction with a mix of items including Metropolitan Opera tickets, jewelry, autographed books, and spa treatments. Tickets are $45 per person and available at the library. For more information or to donate an auction item, call the Friends of the Library at 986-3839.
