Black Meadow Flora hosts open house for orchid lovers on April 27 and 28

CHESTER — Black Meadow Flora will host its annual spring celebration, “Orchid Fascination,” on Saturday and Sunday, April 27 and 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at its greenhouses located at 256 Black Meadow Road in Chester.

The program includes distinctive orchids and orchid supplies as well as free educational classes and demonstrations.

Class Schedule for both days:
11 a.m. - Orchid media and fertilizers what s best for my orchids? (Micki Bridge)

1 p.m. - The why, when and how of orchid repotting. (Margaret C. Bridge)

2:30 p.m. - Orchid Arrangements for All Occasions. (Colleen Meyer)
