Sugar Loaf — Selected members of the Hudson Highlands Photo Workshop will exhibit their fine art photography at Lycian Centre for the Performing Arts, located at 1351 Kings Highway in Sugar Loaf, beginning Thursday, Nov. 17. Titled “Beyond the Horizon,” the exhibit includes approximately 50 photos available for purchase. “Beyond the Horizon implies a heightened ability to see or perceive what other people can’t or don’t," said workshop president Thomas Vaillancourt. "That is the challenge for photographers — to see and capture on paper for others to see, what most people miss.” An opening reception will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3. The exhibit will be on display from 11 a.m. until 4:00 p.m., Tuesday to Saturday, through Jan. 4. Admission is free. The Hudson Highlands Photo Workshop is a non-profit organization composed of serious amateur, semi-professional, and professional photographers in the lower Hudson Valley.
