Beware of invasive plants

    Cornwall — Invasive plants are a threat to the ecology, destroying the habitats of native plants and animals. Gerda Krogslund, a Master Gardener volunteer, will talk about what makes a plant invasive, which plants are invasive in the Hudson Valley, and strategies to get them out of gardens at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, at Kenridge Farm, located on Route 9W in Cornwall Kenridge Farm is part of the Museum of the Hudson Highlands. The program is part of the museum’s May Evening Speakers Series. Refreshments will be served. General admission is $7; museum members pay $4. Reservations are not required.
