Benefit jewelry event at the Book Garden this Saturday

    Monroe — The Book Garden, the gently used book store run by the Friends of the Monroe Free Library, will host a benefit Sonoda Silver and Style jewelry show on Saturday, Aug. 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on its front lawn. On sale will be will be sterling silver and brass jewelry, with and without semi-precious stones. The selection includes rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces, bracelets, anklets and toe rings ranging from $6 to $150. All earned hostess gifts will be used by the Book Garden as future raffle prizes at the different events it regularly holds. Call 783-4411 to learn more.
