MONROE —Back by popular demand, the “Off-the-Loom” beadwoven bracelet-making class will be held at Museum Village from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5. The four-hour class will once again be taught by Michele Dixler, who has been making jewelry since early childhood. Many of her current designs are inspired by antique and ethnic jewelry. All necessary materials will be provided, including needles, weaving materials, accent beads of semi-precious stones and pearls, vials of background beads in various sizes and colors and the bracelet closure. The cost is $75 per person, which includes instructions and sufficient materials to complete a beadwoven bracelet. Registration is required, as class size is limited to 10 persons. Contact Museum Village at 845-782-8248 for further details and registration or visit the Museum Village Web site at www.museumvillage.org.
