The Albert Wisner Public Library invites the community to join them on Friday, Aug. 23, at 7 p.m. for a Woodstock Tribute concert.

“Make the scene” at the library’s live “groovy” Back to the Garden Concert featuring Tony Vitiello and his band, plus E'lissa Jones and Jody Weatherstone.

Vitiello and his group will cover all of your favorites from the original “three days of peace, love and music.”

Two of Warwick’s favorite performers - E’lissa Jones and Jody Weatherstone - will cover their Woodstock favorites, Richie Havens and Joan Baez respectively.

Jones will stand in for Richie Havens who was the opening act at the original 1969 Woodstock while Weatherstone will reprise Joan Baez with "We Shall Overcome" and more.

This is an outdoor performance, weather permitting. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. Outdoors, the library can accommodate all who wish to attend.

In the case of inclement weather, the performance will be in the Community Room. Seating in the Community Room is limited to the first 80 people who are registered.

The concert is made possible by a gift to the AWPL Foundation by Glenn P. and Susan D. Dickes.
