Sugar Loaf —Auditions are now being held for “Two From Galilee,” a musical to be performed at the Lycian Theater in Sugar Loaf, N.Y., and the McNeice Auditorium in Sparta, N.J., during the Christmas season. The Completely Mobile Theatre Company, a local nonprofit professional theater company, is producing this ecumenical theater production with the help of the Christian churches of Sussex and Orange counties. Last year’s show involved more than 40 different churches. The cast will include 75 people and will require another 20 to help with costumes, sets, lighting and sound, and other technical positions. Auditions are scheduled for 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 21 at First Presbyterian Church, 32 Main St., Sparta. N.J.; and from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 19 at the Glenwood Baptist Church, 1863 Route 565, Glenwood, N.J. People interested in auditioning should be prepared to sing a song. Any standard musical theater song or standard Christian praise hymn would be appropriate for the audition. For more information, call Tom Hallett at 973-277-4376.
