Adult events • Friends of the Library: Wednesday, Nov. 1, 8 p.m. The Friends of the Monroe Free Library invite you to join them. Their goals: make a difference in our community, influence the future development of our library, meet friends with similar interests and concerns, organize fund-raising events and stimulate the use of the library through special programs. Examples of all these crafts are on display at the library. Materials fee: $5.
