Artwork by Charlie Lang on exhibit
Goshen Art works by Middletown native, Charlie Lang, are the focus of the current exhibit at the Executive Suite Gallery in the County Government Center in Goshen, The show features Lang’s computer-generated graphic images. His bold use of bright colors portraying simple subjects suggests a primitive approach. Lang intentionally blurs the realism of his images to pronounce his digital art. Lang is both a musician and a visual artist, currently focusing on creating his first CD, “Turn the Music On.” Lang attended Berklee College of Music in Boston. County Executive Edward A. Diana commented, “Both our staff and our visitors have really enjoyed the bursts of color in Mr. Lang’s works. They really brighten our offices.” The exhibit is open to the public during business hours, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The show runs from Aug. 3 through Sept. 14.
