Arts council to hold public forum March 6

    MIDDLETOWN — The new Orange County Arts Council will be holding the fourth in a series of public meetings to gain input from residents about the role of the arts in their communities, and to discuss the new Council’s present and future activities on Thursday, March 6, from 7 to 9 p.m. at SUNY Orange’s Orange Hall Gallery in Middletown. A brief introduction and overview of the new council will be followed by a question and answer session for the public. Board members from the Council will be present to hear suggestions and concerns. All members of the community are encouraged to attend. The Orange County Arts Council looks to help communities improve their quality of life through culture and the arts. For those not able to attend, future meetings with the Orange County Arts Council will be held in other areas of the county monthly through September 2008. For more information, call 469-9459.
