Arbor Day at Museum Village: a day to tell stories
MONROE Museum Village will hold an Arbor Day Celebration from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 22. Chuck Stead, an adjunct professor of environmental history at Ramapo College, will tell a story to entertain as well as inspire the audience. Other events include “Close Encounters with Birds of Prey” at 1 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $5 for children. Museum Village members and those participating in “Clean Sweep” and wearing their orange “Clean Sweep” shirt will be admitted free. In addition, employees from the following business supporters will be admitted free of charge with employee identification: Carpenter and Smith; Smith, Seaman and Quackenbush; Keller Williams Realty; Project Renewal; Provident Bank; and Mid Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union. Their family members will be offered half price admission.
