Applewood Winery hosts BBQ & Blues weekend on July 28-29

Big Frank and the Healers play traditional electric and acoustic blues. They will perform on Sunday, July 29, at the tenth annual BBQ & Blues Weekend will be hosted by Applewood Winery in Warwick.

WARWICK — The tenth annual BBQ & Blues Weekend will be hosted by Applewood Winery, 82 Four Corners Road, Warwick, on July 28 and July 29 from noon to 5 p.m. both days.
The event features the popular Smokin’ Grate, who will be offering up BBQ favorites such as brisket, pulled pork, ribs and chicken. Mac and cheese, potato salad, baked beans, corn bread and special sauces are also on the menu.
In addition, the winery’s Cider Café will be serving wood-fired pizza, cheese plates and more. And the Naked Flock Cider Bar offers a selection of small-batch ciders on tap.
On Saturday, the Barn Cats will entertain with their New Orleans flavored original blues-based funk and rock. On Sunday, listen to Big Frank and the Healers play traditional electric and acoustic blues.
