Applewood Winery hosting BBQ & Blues Experience

WARWICK — Applewood Winery is hosting its fourth annual BBQ & Blues Experience on Saturday and Sunday, Aug. 3 and 4.

The winery is featuring Chumley’s BBQ of Florida, the first place winner at this year's Rockin’ Ribs Festival at Hidden Valley in Vernon for their mouthwatering ribs and special barbecue sauces.

Your ticket will include a choice of Smokin’ Ribs, pulled pork or chicken and choice of sides along with Chumley's signature corn bread, which makes it easier to get every last bit of their delicious, award-winning sauces. Also included is a logo wine glass and complimentary wine tasting in the Applewood Tasting Room.

There will be live music with bands on both days.

Saturday’s Music is The Myles Mancuso Band. On Sunday, Yasgur will fill your afternoon with the soul of the blues.

If barbecue is not your thing, The Cider Café is open for lunch, offering pizza, savory cheese plate, house made guacamole, salsas and signature sangrias. No outside food or beverages are allowed.

The fun runs from noon to 5 p.m. on both days.
