Antique car show this Saturday

The Monroe Historical Society will celebrate the area’s love affair with the automobile on Saturday, July 14, when it holds its third annual antique car show from 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the McGarrah Stage Couch Inn on Stage Road. Pictured here is a scene from last year’s car show as well as an historical photograph of traffic along Lake Street circa 1948.
