An Inspector Calls' at the winery
Warwick The Illustrious Theatre Company, in residence at the Warwick Valley Winery and Distillery, will open its sixth indoor season with J.B. Priestley’s “An Inspector Calls” on the weekends of Oct. 26 and Nov. 2. Set in London in 1912, the play first opened on the stage in London in 1946, and was later made into a film starring Alastair Sim in 1954. It was revived on Broadway in 1994, starring Phil Bosco, Kenneth Cranham and Rosemary Harris, and was the recipient of four Tony Awards. The ITC production is directed by Megan Cooke of Warwick and features the cast of Glenn Arnowitz, Jim Boerlin, Kristen Casey, Rosita Gilsenan, Brian Madigan, Justin Morena, and Debra Weber. Performance dates are Oct. 26, 27, 28 and Nov. 2, 3, and 4. Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 7:30 p.m. Dining is available before the show; dinner reservations may be made by calling 258-4858.
