American Youth Dance Academy's ballet production of 'Thumbelina' premiers this Sunday at the Lycian

Sugar Loaf - The American Youth Dance Academy’s premier ballet production of Hans Christian Anderson’s “Thumbelina” will take place Sunday, June 12, at 4 p.m. at the Lycian Center for the Performing Arts, 1351 County Road 13 in Sugar Loaf. Tickets are $14 and will be available at the door. Joining the AYDA’s award winning students to present this family-fun ballet production will be guest artists Albert Davydov of New Jersey Ballet and Whitney Jensen of the Boston Ballet. The American Youth Dance Academy’s past production of “The Nutcracker” also featured professional ballet dancers from leading American Ballet companies to Orange County, including guest artist from new York City Ballet, principal dancer Amar Ramasar and soloist Rebecca Krohn.
