American Museum of Natural History passes are back at the Greenwood Lake Public Library

GREENWOOD LAKE — Just in time for the holiday season, free passes to the American Museum of Natural History (Central Park West and 79th Street in New York City) are back and available for check-out to Greenwood Lake resident library patrons.
Once a year, a patron may check-out four passes per family. These new passes expire in November 2019, giving patrons up to an entire year to use them.
The American Museum of Natural History passes join a collection of fun and educational opportunities available to families throughout the year. The list includes :
• Brooklyn Botanic Garden (990 Washington Ave., Brooklyn)
• The Frick Collection (1 East 70th St., NYC)
• Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum Complex (Pier 86, W. 46th St., NYC)
• Mid-Hudson Children's Museum (75 N. Water St., Poughkeepsie)
• Motorcyclopedia (250 Lake St., Newburgh)
• The Museum at Bethel Woods (200 Hurd Road, Bethel)

• Storm King Art Center (1 Museum Road, New Windsor)
• Free daily beach passes to Thomas P. Morahan Waterfront Park (7 Windermere Ave.) are also available to resident patrons during the summer.
Patrons may borrow beach passes multiple times; however, they must wait two weeks between each checkout.
• The Liberty Science Center continues to offer a 3 percent discount per library patron (or a 10 percent off the purchase of a household membership) by presenting library card at the box office.
Patrons also must come in person to check-out with a photo ID and Greenwood Lake library card.
Excluding the American Museum of Natural History, passes are available for a three-day loan period ($10 overdue late fee per pass per day).
There are no renewals or reservations.
