WARWICK. The Albert Wisner Public Library announces a STEAM Artist in Residence Program for the fall of 2019.
The program will offer opportunities for the community to learn, share, and create with an artist or expert in the field of Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts or Mathematics.
The Library invites artists and experts who wish to share their enthusiasm, expertise and creativity to apply for the residency.
The program is a six-week residency. Candidates will submit an application outlining their proposal and indicating their field of endeavor.
The application is available on the library’s website albertwisnerlibrary.org.
A stipend of $1,000 will be offered with a budget of $350 for supplies. Housing and transportation are not included.
The application deadline is July 15, 2019.
The library will announce their choice for the residency award on Sept. 1.
This program is made possible by a generous contribution to the Albert Wisner Public Library Foundation by Glenn P. and Susan D. Dickes.
