Warwick — The Albert Wisner Public Library will feature the art of Warwick resident Lorraine (Lorrie) Sniderman in the library’s gallery during the month of August. The show is titled “Captured Beauty in Town and Country” and is meant to express the artist’s love for both New York City and Warwick. On Tuesday, Aug. 2 all are invited to a meet and greet with the artist from 6 to 7:45 p.m. in the gallery. Sniderman was born and grew up in New York City. As a student of The Brooklyn Museum Art School, she was a founder of Aspects Gallery in Manhattan’s East Village. She is a member of the Warwick Art League and won Best in Show in 2009. She is also a member of the Orange County Arts Council and the Northeast Watercolor Society. The artist’s hope is that her paintings will inspire all to find the joy she sees in everyday life.
