Albert Wisner Public library hosts classical guitarist Marc Mathelier on Aug. 11

WARWICK — The Albert Wisner Public Library will present classical guitarist Marc Mathelier at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 11, in the library’s Community Room.
Mathelier is a versatile and avid guitarist with a repertoire ranging from Baroque to Fusion-Alternative, New Age to Easy Listening and Classical to Jazz Standards on nylon strings guitar.
A winner of numerous awards, Mathelier has concertized with taste at Teatro Oficina on Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Conservatoire de Montreal in Canada. In the United States, he has performed at many distinguished stages including on New York City Broadway, Carnegie Hall, Berkley Performance Center in Boston and the Daughters of American Revolution Constitution Hall in Washington, D.C. He also has been featured with the Rockland County Chorale Society.
Mathelier’s music takes us on romantic and exotic voyages that celebrate music, love, and life and his mastery of the guitar and his variety of styles makes him a virtuoso.
