Air Pirates Radio Theater announces cast
Sugar Loaf In an effort to broaden entertainment available on the air waves PEP, productions and WTBQ radio have teamed to produce Air Pirates Radio Theater, a mixture of live contemporary interactive theater and old time radio drama. Auditions were held on May 12 and The Air Pirates Radio Theater has cast the line-up of original plays, including: “Space Cadet: Is This The Beginning?” - Saturday, July 14 “Herb Marks Freelance: It Ain’t Over ’til the Fat Lady Swings” - Saturday, Aug. 11 “Space Cadet: Revenge of the Space Queens” - Saturday, Sept. 8 The series will be performed at the Pavilion at the Lycian Centre in Sugar Loaf, with Air Pirates cast members performing the staged readings as though they were broadcasting live on the radio. Four to five actors portray all the characters in each episode, while the audience is asked to produce all the sound effects. The live performances are recorded for future broadcasts on WTBQ 1110 A.M. and online at www.wtbq.com. The cast includes Caitlin O’Heaney, Brian Nieves, Jennifer Circosta, Holly Gorman, Melvyn Stiriss, Kate Andrews and Tristan Bissell.
