After Great Dance Festival appearance,Little Feet hit the boards June 8 at M-W high school

Monroe - Orange County School of Dance’s resident dance company, Little Feet, was featured at the Great 2008 Dance Festival held May 18 at the Paramount Theater in Middletown. Three other dance companies also performed in addition to solo performers from the American Ballet School in New York City. Little Feet performed four pieces choreographed by Joanna Markowitz, director of the company and Orange County School of Dance. Her choreography has been in the repertory of Towson State University and Brooklyn’s Young Dancers in Repertory. The company’s dancers are: Emma Bartnick, Rebecca Birmingham, Amanda Bochenski, Nicole Boselli, Chelsea Cozart, Gabby Formale, Erin Johnson, Molly Kirk, Marissa Massimore, JoAna Morales, Krissy Nastasi, Lindsey Pugh, Nicole Ramirez and Samara Speller. This is the tenth performance of the company this year with their next one on Sunday, June 8, at Monroe-Woodbury High School at noon. Little Feet also are scheduled to appear Aug. 2 at a benefit dance festival and Sept. 13 at the Monroe Cheese Festival. For more information, call 782-2482.
